Nursing at Caboolture Campus

Staff in the School of Nursing work collaboratively with nursing, allied professionals and consumers in leading the development of policy and practices which inform health and nursing issues in Australia and the international community. They seek to prepare graduates for employment in the community ensuring they possess the knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed to advance professional roles, and a capacity to value and engage in lifelong learning.

In 2008 the Caboolture campus will offer the first two years of the Bachelor of Nursing with further years being added progressively.

This course is recognised by the Royal College of Nursing, Australia as satisfying the academic requirements for admission as a professional member. The Bachelor of Nursing is an accredited Nursing Pre-registration course of the Queensland Nursing Council (www.qnc.qld.gov.au)
