The QUT Faculty of Education is unique in its blend of large-scale teacher
education and research excellence. The Faculty maintains strong linkages with
the profession and sees its professional community incorporating state, national,
and international educational organisations.
The full four-year Bachelor of Education (primary) is offered at the Caboolture
campus with students conveniently receiving all placements at schools in the
region. The course has been designed using the principles of outcomes-based
education and challenges students to investigate, questions, and create new
knowledge about teaching and learning. At the completion of the degree, graduates
are eligible for registration as teachers in Queensland through the Queensland
College of Teachers.
