The Counselling Service provides a professional, confidential and free counselling
service to students. A range of services are offered by staff in the Counselling
Service which assists students to make the most of their experiences, especially
their university experience. Individual counselling is offered to students for
academic and personal problems, and group programs are run in the areas of stress
management, motivation, self esteem, time management, exam skills and dealing
with exam stress.
Counselling Services Welfare Officers are regularly available to talk to students
on campus during semester. Welfare Officers can assist with SFAS loans, Centrelink
queries, money management, tenancy issues and other welfare matters.
