K Block Facility

Construction has begun on the new multi-million dollar, purpose-built nursing building at the Caboolture campus. The building will include clinical nursing laboratories and self-directed learning areas. It is due for completion by mid 2008.

Library Redevelopment

Recently the campus received an additional $2.5million from the Federal Government which will be used to redevelop the teaching and learning facilities and resources in the campus Library. The redevelopments will service students from QUT and Brisbane North Institute of TAFE.

Sporting and Recreation

Money for the development of a multi-purpose court and sound shell was received by QUT during 2007. Completion is expected by end 2008.

The multi-purpose sports facility will comprise a hard court surface with integrated barriers and goals for games such as soccer, tennis, basketball, netball, and hockey.

The outdoor sound shell will be an open-air stage with a weather-proof cover for music and cultural events on campus.
